"Sky Alliance was founded in June 2009 on Simfly as a Alliance of Virtual Airlines they help each other to reach the needed quota and keep the Virtual Airlines safe from disbanding. The Idea behind Sky Alliance was pretty simple, every Virtual Airline which were members of Sky Alliance had a standby pilot who was used to jump over to other VA´s when help was needed, this made it possible to keep 7 Virtual Airlines safe from disbanding by the System. In December 2009 things changed and Sky Alliance closed it service to the members on Simfly. This was the start of a new era for SKA as a stand alone Virtual Airline on SkySimFlight. Founded in December 2009 we had the chance to get in touch with the new system S.O.F.T.S prepared for maiden flight on SkySimFlight as the Virtual Airline with the first official counted and tracked flight on the 1st January 2010.
